General setup
This section describes a standard setup of CreditSolution2Dynamics. The prerequisite for setting up and later using the interface is that you have already received SkyMinder login data by CRIF. In addition, the setup requires a user who can access the Business Central task queue.
The setup card can only be opened by users with the Credit Solution Admin permission set, because the setup is not user specific but global for the client.
The general setup of CreditSolution2Dynamics is divided into sections corresponding to the tabs of the setup card.
General tab
Four number series are required for CreditSolution2Dynamics. These number series can either be entered in the fields of the respective series or can be inserted automatically by the ActionItem in the menu ribbon. The ActionItem creates all number series and asks for each series if it should be inserted.
Moreover if the slider Credit Solution Job Queue is activated, periodic activities are created in the job queue.
Search function tab
The Max. number of search results field can be used to specify the maximum number of search results that can be displayed for a search. The less relevant search results will not be displayed. If no number is specified, the limit for search results is set to 100 for technical reasons.
Semaphore tab
The CreditSolution2Dynamics traffic light setup is divided in two fields. These fields determine the threshold of the traffic light: when it turns from green to yellow and from yellow to red. These thresholds are applied to the Normalized Rating of a report and are by default 2.40 for traffic light green/yellow and 4.50 for traffic light yellow/red - but this can be changed at will.
The traffic light accesses the normalized rating of a report - for German companies, the provider rating or the normalized rating can be used for the traffic light. This can be changed via the Use Provider Rating for German Reports switch.
Services tab
In this tab the different apps supported by CreditSolution2Dynamics are shown. To use SkyMinder2Dynamics the Enable SkyMinder switch must be activated. Furthermore the Allow External Data switch must be activated; otherwise SkyMinder2Dynamics will not work.
SkyMinder Options tab
This tab is only available when SkyMinder is enabled as a service.
If the local layout should be delivered as PDF instead of the SkyMinder layout, mark the check box Use local PDF instead of SkyMinder PDF by default. This setting determines whether the switch Local provider PDF instead of SkyMinder PDF is prefilled for a report request or not.
Via Download HTML you can also set whether a HTML file should be supplied when ordering a report.
You can also specify the currency to be used as the default currency for SkyMinder. This should be the same as the default currency from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Furthermore a predefined product language filter can be set for the list of product search results. A filter string can be entered in the Product language filter field. E.g. "de|en" for German and English information only. The filter can be removed in the list for the respective request.
In the Default SkyMinder Monitoring field you can select whether an attempt should be made to order full monitoring when purchasing a report or whether no monitoring should be ordered automatically. This is a default setting that can be changed when purchasing a report. Even if this setting is set to full monitoring there is no guarantee that a monitoring will be ordered.
Active SkyMinder Todo tab
The Requested Todo's selection field defines which todo are requested by the job queue. You can choose from three options.
- Unread: Only todo that have not yet been queried in SkyMinder are called up; Todo that are accordingly unread.
- Read: Only todo that have already been queried in SkyMinder are displayed; Todo that have already been read. A todo is also marked as read if it has been read outside of the Business Central environment.
- Both: Both read and unread todo are queried in the job queue.
All other fields without system messages decide what type of information is requested.
Cleanup tab
The Cleanup tab ensures that obsolete PDFs, JSONs and HTMLs are deleted. For this purpose, you can set how old the data may become before it is deleted. For this purpose, the fields are filled with a number , which represents the maximum number of days. For PDFs and HTMLs, the cleanup type can also be selected. This determines whether, instead of deleting the PDFs or HTMLs after a period of time, all PDFs or HTMLs except the current one for a business partner should be deleted.
Version tab
The Version tab displays information about the version of SkyMinder2Dynamics.
Menu buttons
- Create No. Series automatically creates number series and assigns them
- User opens the user setup card of SkyMinder2Dynamics
- Countries/Regions opens the country list
- Currency Mapping opens the currency mapping list
- Text Templates opens the todo text template list
